Last time on Stargate Universe.
We repaired the eight pods, but one of them was more damaged than we thought. It came online with the rest of them, but when we ran final checks, it just ... died. We might be one short.
If you stay out, it's automatic - you're dead. If I do it, at least I have a chance - maybe even a better chance than Rush. For too long, I've been content to stay in his shadow, play the part of the eager young protégé, take his orders. But ... I'm not afraid to say it any more: I'm smarter than him.
You're a good man, Eli. You get this done. I'm gonna see you on the other side.
Only Eli remained outside of the Stasis pods, only a few days to fix it with limited resources. Three years the trip was going to be, and if Eli couldn't fix his pod, he'd have to essentially commit suicide by shutting off life support.
...
An unknown amount of years have passed. Slowly, the stasis pods start to awaken the crew of the Destiny. The first to emerge is none other than Nicholas Rush. The Destiny has stopped in a new galaxy. Everything is unknown about this galaxy. When trying to activate the communication stones, they don't seem to work. Eli. Eli is in a pod. He managed to fix it. The future of the Destiny is unknown. The future is up to the crew. And hopefully... they can wake everyone up.
Note: Your first post must be in the current episode where you wake up from the stasis pod. After that you can continue on with however you wish to continue, with regular threads or participation in the current episode.
